Wunderschöne Natur im Reich der Berber
Um den Trubel der Großstadt Marrakesch etwas zu entfliehen, buchten wir auf Getyourguide einen privat geführten Ausflug in die Berge inkl. einem geführten Trekking sowie Mittagessen.
In der Früh wurden wir von einem netten Fahrer mit einem SUV abgeholt. Vorbei an Arganölfabriken in wüstenähnlichen Landschaften ging es weiter in die Berge, in denen sich die satten grünen Täler wie Oasen sich in die Landschaft schmiegten.
Nach ca. 1 ½ Stunden kamen wir im Bergdorf Ilmil an, dass direkt am Fuße des größten Berges Nordafrikas, dem Jebel Toubkal, liegt. Hier erwartete uns schon unser Trekking Guide mit einer Tasse Tee auf uns.
Während wir ein wenig mit dem Guide plauderten, beobachteten wir einige Wanderer, die sich auf den 3-tägigen Aufstieg des Toubkal vorbereiteten. Unsere Vorbereitung belief sich nur auf das eincremen mit Sonnenschutz und der Suche nach einer passenden Kopfbedeckung für mich, da ich die Kraft der Sonne hier durch das angenehme milde Klima sehr unterschätzt hatte.
Die 3-stündige Wanderung führte vorbei an Wasserfällen und durch traditionelle Berberdörfer mit einem atemberaubenden Ausblick in die wunderschöne Landschaft. Hinter uns der schneebedeckte Jebel Toubkal und vor uns das satte grüne Tal mit wolkenlosem blauen Himmel. Ein Traum!
Während der Wanderung erzählte uns unser Guide viele Geschichten über die noch hier lebenden Berberfamilien und deren Alltag und Kultur.
Nach der Wanderung kehrten wir noch in ein kleines Restaurant ein. Auf der Dachterrasse fanden wir ein nettes Plätzchen um den Tag hier in Ilmil gemütlich ausklingen zu lassen.
Ich kann diesen Ausflug sehr empfehlen, da man vieles über die Umgebung und das Leben der Berber erfährt. Die Wanderung an sich ist nicht allzu anstrengend. Wichtig ist nur gutes Schuhwerk, genug zu trinken, Kopfbedeckung und einen Sonnenschutz dabei zu haben.
Beim nächsten Besuch des Atlas Gebirges steht auf jeden Fall die 3-Tägige Besteigung des Jebel Toubkal auf meinem Plan.
